"High degree of caution" - Civil unrest/political tension - Israel's ground offensive and airstrikes in Gaza continue; Australians visiting Israel should be aware of the risks of travel due to the current conflict between Hamas and Israel. On 22 July 2014, some airlines temporarily suspended operations at Ben Gurion International Airport after a rocket landed nearby.  You should check with your airline or tour operator for latest information on flight disruptions.
