Fly Blue Crane has partnered with Hollard Travel Insurance to enable customers to purchase insurance when they buy their airline tickets. The airline also recently launched services on the GDS.
Fly Blue Crane’s 50-seater single-class Embraer 145 regional jets currently fly between OR Tambo International Airport and the regional hubs of Bloemfontein, Cape Town and Kimberley. When it launched last year, the airline said it aimed to provide a premium experience to business travellers.
“Integrating the insurance option into our booking system facilitates a swift and cost-effective way for customers to protect themselves against flight delays, cancellations and changes, baggage losses and the other routine risks air travellers face,” says Fly Blue Crane cco, Theunis Potgieter.
