Thailand Issues Terror Alerts

Following on the decisions by US and other embassies in Thailand to issue terror alerts, several tourism-related agencies have intensified their security measures to prevent unexpected events.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Governor Surapon Sawetseranee revealed that after 12 embassies had issued warnings to their citizens over possible terrorist attacks in Thailand, TAT has ordered all its offices across the country to follow up on the news and check on the effects of the warnings on tourist activities.
