Travelling to Kenya
10 January 2012
TRAVELLERS have been warned of all but necessary travel to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, following information released by the Kenyan government revealing that terrorists may be in the final stages of planning attacks that could impact on travellers.
The British Foreign Office has updated its travel advice for Kenya, stating that: "Attacks could be indiscriminate, targeting Kenyan institutions as well as places where expatriates and foreign travellers gather, such as hotels, shopping centres and beaches."
